Yen-Yi Anderson

Yen-Yi Anderson is the founder and managing principal of Anderson & Associates Law, P.C., located in New York, New York. Focusing her practice on matters related to immigration law, business law, business immigration, commercial litigation and real estate, she serves clients in New York and throughout the surrounding areas.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree in financial and economical law from the National Taipei University, Ms. Anderson earned her LL.M. degree from the New York University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the United States Tax Court.

Ms. Anderson’s extensive experience in the field of law includes helping clients secure temporary or permanent visas for scholars, investors, foreign graduates, religious workers, multinational executives, entertainers and others. She also is well known for providing sound and knowledgeable counsel on issues such as immigrant visa options involving national interest waivers, labor certification applications, petitions for prominent professors and researchers and individuals of extraordinary ability. 

Additionally, Ms. Anderson provides counsel to clients regarding employer I-9, LCA and audit compliance requirements. Empathetic to the needs of her clients, she is well-known for the workable and practicable advice she provides so that clients can pursue temporary visas while also completing educational, training and licensing obligations. 

During her extensive experience of practicing law, Ms. Anderson has been widely recognized within the legal industry and the immigration bar for her achievements. She was selected by The New York Law Journal as a “Rising Star,” an award that recognizes top attorneys under the age 40. Ms. Anderson commits herself to the legal community, she is an active member in the American Immigration Lawyers Association ("AILA") and Asian American Bar Association of New York ("AABANY").  She currently serves as the co-chair of the Member Engagement Committee of the New York chapter of AILA and the co-chair of the Solo/Small Law Firm Committee of AABANY.
