Zixian Qi

After serving the clients for about ten years, Ms. Qi is now a partner of Alpha Law LLC.  Ms. Qi majored in law in Nankai University in China and received a bachelor’s degree in 2011. After emigrating to the United States, she enrolled at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she took courses in the American legal system before she obtained a Master of Laws in 2012.

In her real estate practice, Ms. Qi has extensive experience in assisting purchasers and sellers of residential and commercial properties, and she has also worked with developers of commercial real estate projects as well as with general contractors.  Ms. Qi also handles NYC five boroughs and Nassau and Suffolk County housing court eviction procedures, and represented either sides in both residential and commercial situation.  Ms. Qi is admitted to practice before all New York state courts since 2013, and is also admitted to Eastern and Southern District Courts of New York.

Another portion of Ms. Qi’s practice involves her representation of people throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area who have been the victims of state and federal laws dealing with debt collection activities, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Many of her clients have fallen behind in their obligations such as credit card debt, mortgages, federal and state income taxes, and medical bills, and as a result, they have found themselves vulnerable to illegal and predatory tactics. Ms. Qi has successfully filed lawsuits against the perpetrators and thereafter has obtained relief for these clients.
