So, here is where I brag about how wonderful I am, and how skilled I am, right? For sure, I have had successes. But, I have also had failures. Unfortunately, legal outcomes are unpredictable and sometimes cases that ought to lose, win, and cases that ought to win, lose. Sometimes, I'm just on the right side of the argument, and sometimes, I'm not.

I can't promise success; and no good attorney would. But, what I can promise is that I will do my absolute best to find a winning argument for you. And, I will enthusiastically advocate for you. I can also promise you that I will be honest with you about your case; about my opinion on your chances of success, the value of your damages or claims, and whether it makes sense for you to pay me, or anyone, to pursue them. I'm not out to take anyone to the bank or to make a buck. I want to practice law differently.

In the fall of 2014, I made the decision to venture into solo practice after finishing my eleventh-year relationship with a fantastic law firm. I am passionate, down to earth, practical when appropriate, and always dedicated. I love my career and the opportunities that it gives me to connect with so many people on many different levels. I am always humbled to be in a position to help others.

I believe that having a career should complement my personal life, not rule it. I believe that everyone with a meritorious claim should have access to cost-effective and competent legal advocates. I believe that a high quality of life breeds success in all endeavors. I believe that I can learn just as much from my clients, as they can from me. Having said that: Most of my practice is devoted to ERISA litigation (think pension disputes, disability insurance disputes, severance issues, etc.) and other labor and employment issues (contracts, non-competes, employment discrimination, etc.). I'm good at it, the law geek in me loves this work, and, at the end of the day, I like fighting the good fight for the little guy.

When I am not fighting for justice, you will likely find me adventuring with my family and cheering on the Bills.
