Amy Chadwick

Amy Chadwick is a Social Security Disability attorney and one of the partners of the firm Amdursky, Pelky, Fennell and Wallen, P.C. The law firm is located in Oswego, New York, but she extends her service to the residents of Central New York. 

Graduating from Le Moyne College in 2011, Ms. Chadwick received her undergraduate degree in political science. She was a member of the college's Pre-Law Society and member of the Le Moyne Women's Rugby team. She later obtained her Juris Doctor degree with the highest honors from the Syracuse University College of Law. While pursuing legal studies, she worked as an intern at the Cayuga County Surrogate's Court and as a summer associate at APFW Law, where she reviewed and analyzed files and conducted extensive legal research. She was a member of the university’s Justinian Honor Society and the Family Law Society . She was also a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association’s Pro Se Divorce Clinic and served as a research assistant at the law school.

Ms. Chadwick understands from a common person’s perspective that applying for disability benefits can be overwhelming and confusing at times, and  takes utmost care to explain the various processes in detail and help her clients correctly file for disability benefits. It is a common misconception that as soon as someone develops a disability, the benefits are available to them. Ms. Chadwick meets with her clients and explains the eligibility criteria and processes to obtain such benefits. 

Currently a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, Ms. Chadwick also holds memberships in other organizations  such as the Oswego County Bar Association.
