Larry Breslow

The managing partner at Rutberg‐Breslow Personal Injury Law, Larry Breslow focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury cases. From the firm’s main office in Poughkeepsie, New York, and with satellite offices in Utica and Monticello, he represents clients throughout Dutchess, Oneida, and Sullivan counties and other parts of the state. Mr. Breslow has been admitted to practice in New York since 1995, and he is also admitted to practice in Massachusetts as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Mr. Breslow has been able to obtain significant compensation for his clients who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. A tenacious and passionate courtroom advocate when a trial has become necessary, he finds himself often negotiating a favorable settlement on their behalf, assisted by his trial skills, which are held in high regard by lawyers representing the defendants’ insurance companies. The cases that he has worked on have been based on a wide variety of incidents. They have included truck and other motor vehicle collisions, dangerous products, premises liability, professional malpractice, nursing home abuse, animal attacks, construction site accidents and airplane crashes.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Breslow attended Binghamton University, part of the State University of New York, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1992. He then went on to pursue his legal education at Brooklyn Law School, and he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society before obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1995. Mr. Breslow is a member of several county bar associations along with the American Association for Justice and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
