Glen A. Plotsky

A senior partner at Bavoso & Plotsky, located in Port Jervis, New York, Glen A. Plotsky represents clients throughout the state as well as Connecticut. His varied practice encompasses several areas, including DUI and other criminal defense matters, and divorce and associated family law issues such as property division, child custody and support. One of his high-profile criminal defense cases came in 2016 when he provided representation for a psychiatrist who was accused of the illegal sale of more than 10,000 prescriptions for pain pills. Mr. Plotsky also has extensive experience representing landlords in tenant disputes, estate planning and administration, real estate transactions, guardianships, adoptions and municipal law. He has served as counsel to the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Port Jervis.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Plotsky attended what was then known as the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he majored in psychology and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1983. He then pursued his legal education at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1987. After graduation, Mr. Plotsky joined the Orange County District Attorney's Office in Goshen, New York, where he spent four years as an assistant district attorney before entering private practice in 1991. He is admitted to practice before all New York and Connecticut state courts.

Mr. Plotsky is involved in numerous civic activities in and around his local community. He was named an honorary director of the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce in 2017. He is also an active participant in several legal organizations, including the New York State Bar Association.
