Michael J. Amoruso is the managing partner of Amoruso & Amoruso, LLP, a Westchester County law firm focused exclusively on handling elder law, probate and estate related legal needs for clients in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida. Mr. Amoruso concentrates his practice at the firm on helping clients who have concerns involving elder care, asset preservation, estate planning, estate administration and guardianship.

A graduate of Boston College Law School, Mr. Amoruso has received numerous professional honors and recognitions during his career, including scores of client testimonials, an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and three New York State Bar Association elder law section awards for work as the principal advocate in passing the Special Needs Trust Fairness Act in 2016, principal drafter of the New York State Compact for Long Term Care in 2007 and of the significant 2009 Power of Attorney statute and form amendments. Mr. Amoruso is also a published author and frequent lecturer for the New York State Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and several other professional organizations.
