Ronald S. Lanza

Ronald S. Lanza is a Long Island, New York-based elder law and estate planning attorney. A partner at the boutique law firm of Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP, in Smithtown, Mr. Lanza has over 20 years of experience handling matters involving estate administration, guardianship, Medicaid applications, Medicaid planning, probate, special needs planning and wills.

Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Lanza has helped clients resolve numerous complex elder law and estate planning matters. He provides wise and practical guidance to elderly and disabled individuals and their families. He is dedicated to his clients and uses his extensive experience to find creative and practical solutions to their legal issues.

Prior to founding Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP, Mr. Lanza served as a senior law clerk at the New York State Court of Appeals. He also served as a clerk for a federal judge in Florida. These experiences gave him insight into the methods and strategies his clients can use to avoid problems in estate planning, probate and related legal fields.

In addition to managing his law practice, Mr. Lanza engages in a variety of activities within his legal community. In 2015, he lectured on elder law and estate planning topics at two different conferences. He is an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Lanza earned his law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He holds licenses to practice law in New York and Florida, which allows him to provide legal services to residents of both states.
