Completing her undergraduate degree in philosophy in 1981 at Fordham University, Ms. Corliss acquired her Juris Doctor degree in 1985 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Her law school tenure includes serving as an article editor of the university’s International Law Journal and winning a regional moot court competition as part of a team. A former assistant district attorney with the Bronx County District Attorney’s office, she primarily focused her time on critical child and elder abuse cases.
Before establishing Corliss Law Group, Ms. Corliss gained significant experience as the partner and lead elder law attorney at a renowned law firm in Katonah, New York. She holds the Accredited Estate Planner designation awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, which signifies and reflects her knowledge and professional reputation in estate planning.
Honored with an “Excellent” rating from Avvo, Ms. Corliss loves expanding her network through associations such as the New York State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Elder Law Answers and the Estate Planning Council of Putnam County.
