Annamarie Gulino Gentile is a founding and supervising partner at Angiuli & Gentile, LLP, in Staten Island, New York. Her practice focuses primarily on elder law and estate planning, and she helps clients with wills, trusts, estate administration, probate and veterans benefits throughout Staten Island and the surrounding New York areas.
Ms. Gentile leads the firm's Estate Planning and Elder Law division, guiding families through asset preservation strategies for future generations. She prepares essential documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, health care proxies, living wills, powers of attorney and family agreements. Her work extends to business succession planning, charitable giving, probate matters, trust administration and related litigation. She also provides tailored planning solutions for nontraditional families, including single parents, same-sex couples and domestic partners.
As a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Ms. Gentile stays current with evolving elder law developments. Her accreditation with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs allows her to advise veterans about nonservice-connected pension eligibility, commonly known as "Aid and Attendance."
Ms. Gentile maintains strong community involvement as past chair of The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and the Community Agency for Senior Citizens, Inc. (CASC), where she continues as a board member. She also serves on the board of directors for Meals on Wheels of Staten Island and volunteers extensively with elderly and special needs populations, frequently conducting public seminars on elder law topics.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with magna cum laude degrees in economics and English, Ms. Gentile earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1982. She gained admission to practice in New York (1983), New Jersey (1986), multiple U.S. District Courts (1986) and the U.S. Supreme Court (1988). Her professional affiliations include the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar Association and several other legal organizations.
