Gary C. Angiuli

Gary C. Angiuli is a founder and the Managing Partner of Angiuli & Gentile LLP, Attorneys at Law. In addition, he serves as the Supervising Partner of the firm’s Business, Franchise and Real Estate Practice group.

After peer review, he was designated as a New York Metro Super Lawyer for three years running, a designation that is conferred upon only five percent of attorneys nationwide. In addition, he has been Lead Counsel verified and was showcased in The Wall Street Journal in 2025 as a Lawyer of Distinction.

A seasoned advisor to entrepreneurs, Mr. Angiuli is experienced in the purchase and sale of franchises, automobile dealerships, and small to mid-sized businesses. His extensive experience in business formations, acquisitions, negotiations, and contract drafting as well as his experience in real estate transactions and commercial leasing make him uniquely qualified to assist in almost any business or real estate transaction. He is proficient in reviewing, writing and registering Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) in addition to advising franchisees in their perspective purchases/sales of franchises.  His experience includes advising franchisors who have operated up to 250 franchise units.  In addition, Mr. Angiuli has contributed to speaking engagements on topics such as franchising, commercial leasing and workers’ compensation.

As a member of the Richmond County Bar Association, through the years he has served on both the Judiciary Committee and the Board of Directors. He also is a member of the New York State Bar Association. 

On the local level, Mr. Angiuli has served on the Board of Directors of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce where he received the prestigious Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Award and on the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation where he served on the Board of Directors for many years and received the coveted Verrazano-Narrows Bridge Award, the organization’s highest honor.

He has been interviewed on podcasts and has been a respected guest on the Cats & Cosby Show on 77 WABC Radio as well as being interviewed by renowned business broadcaster, Joe Connolly.

Mr. Angiuli is a graduate of American University Washington College of Law and holds the designation of Juris Doctor.

Admitted to practice law in New York in 1984, he has been practicing for over 40 years and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1988.

During the span of his career, Mr. Angiuli has contributed pro bono services to such organizations including having served on the boards of Luzerne Music Center, the St. George Theatre, The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island (where he served on the Executive and Finance committees), The Staten Island YMCA, Meals on Wheels of Staten Island, and The College of Staten Island Foundation where he served as Vice President.
