Graeme Spicer

The founder of Spicer Law, Graeme Spicer has a varied practice that encompasses several areas of the law, including criminal defense, personal injury litigation and employment law. Based in Syracuse, New York, he represents clients in Onondaga and throughout the western part of the state. Mr. Spicer attended the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he majored in history and received a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. He then enrolled at Syracuse University College of Law, and in 2005 he was awarded his Juris Doctor.

Mr. Spicer has represented many people who have been accused by the state of having committed misdemeanors or felonies. His caseload in this regard has included driving under the influence of alcohol, drug possession and distribution, assault, weapons violations, and homicide, and his clients have benefitted from his courtroom skills in obtaining dismissals and acquittals as well as his experience in negotiating favorable plea agreements with the prosecution.

Another portion of Mr. Spicer’s client base is comprised of people who have been harmed because of the negligence of other parties in incidents involving motor vehicle crashes, premises liability and construction site accidents. In this area as well, he has successfully represented his clients through their receipt of significant compensation from jury awards and negotiated settlements. In his employment law practice, Mr. Spicer has represented employees who have been the victims of wrongful termination or other acts of retaliation, sexual harassment or workplace discrimination. Admitted to practice in New York since 2006, Mr. Spicer is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
