Peter C. Papayanakos

Peter C. Papayanakos is an attorney at Cherundolo Law Firm, PLLC, in Syracuse, New York. Mr. Papayanakos focuses his practice on personal injury law, representing catastrophic injury victims and their families in Syracuse and throughout the state of New York. He handles matters involving car accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice, motorcycle injuries, pedestrian accidents, premises liability, product liability, truck accidents, wrongful death and other catastrophic injuries. 

As a personal injury attorney, Mr. Papayanakos provides devoted and diligent representation to New York residents who have been injured or lost loved ones. He aggressively pursues full and fair compensation on each case and is an experienced negotiator and trial attorney.

Mr. Papayanakos graduated cum laude from Saint Lawrence University in 2012, earning a bachelor’s degree. He received his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2015, also graduating cum laude. While attending law school, he was a member of the Justinian Honor Society and the Moot Court Honor Society and a co-director of the Mackenzie Hughes, LLP Edmund H. Lewis Appellate Advocacy Competition.

Prior to joining Cherundolo Law Firm, PLLC, Mr. Papayanakos developed his legal experience through various roles. He worked at a local law firm for a summer and served as an extern for a Supreme Court of the State of New York justice.

Mr. Papayanakos holds a license to practice law before all New York state courts. He stays involved in his legal community through membership in the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.
