David C. Brennan

A partner at the law office of Young/Sommer LLC in Troy, New York, David C. Brennan serves clients throughout the state in numerous contentious legal matters, including land use and zoning law, municipal law, telecommunications law, environmental law and real estate and development, among many others.

Mr. Brennan completed his undergraduate studies in 1992, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He went on to attend the Albany Law School at Union University, where he honed his shrewd legal acumen and talents with the foresight of helping clients in the future with their legal troubles. He received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 1998, and a year later, he obtained his license to practice law in New York. Additionally, he also gained admission to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of New York.

A stalwart advocate for his clients, Mr. Brennan strives to provide his clients with the deft advocacy they require to overcome their legal challenges without adding any more undue stress. Within his legal community, Mr. Brennan holds close affiliations with many prominent legal organizations in an effort to stay up to date on new legal developments and strategies, always keeping a look out for new ways to help his clients with their complex cases. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association. Additionally, he is actively involved with Niskayuna Fire District No. 2, providing his services as a firefighter/EMT.
