Nicholas Ramcharitar

Nicholas Ramcharitar is the founder of Ramcharitar Law Firm P.C., in Valley Stream, New York. His practice area focuses on criminal law, family law, immigration law and personal injury cases. Admitted to practice in New York in 2012, Mr. Ramcharitar earned his law degree the same year from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida. He also has an undergraduate degree with double majors concentrating on political science from Hofstra University in 2008. While there, he also served as an EMT pre- and post-9/11, working with the New York-Presbyterian EMS team in Manhattan.

While in law school, Mr. Ramcharitar was a part of the Innocence Project of Florida, and he competed in the International Law Moot Court Competition in Trinidad and Tobago. Furthermore, he also studied international sports law during his time in Florence, Italy. After graduating, he offered his services to the indigent through the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County. Over his legal career spanning more than a decade, he has represented clients in the Caribbean region, and in various federal, state and international jurisdictions.
