Tzvi Y. Hagler

Attorney Tzvi Y. Hagler has devoted his career to helping clients deal with what are often stressful and emotional family law matters at his firm, the Law Office of Tzvi Y. Hagler. Based in Valley Stream, New York, and with another office in Chestnut Ridge, he represents people throughout New York, Kings, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland counties and other parts of the greater New York City metropolitan area, as well as Bergen, Essex and Ocean counties in New Jersey.

Mr. Hagler is admitted to practice before all New York and New Jersey state courts, and he has assisted many people in both of those jurisdictions navigate the often-complex issues that accompany the decision to end a marriage. He works with them when they are dealing with such concerns as child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and the division of marital assets and financial obligations. He assists with the negotiation of a comprehensive settlement agreement whenever possible but advocates on his clients' behalf when talks have broken down, meditation sessions have proven to be unsuccessful, and litigation has become necessary.

Mr. Hagler’s family law experience also includes prenuptial and post-marital agreements, and he has assisted people who have been the victims of domestic violence and who are as a result seeking protective orders from the court. In addition, he has handled cases involving paternity establishment and disputes, and he has helped clients whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who need to have their existing support or parenting orders enforced or modified. 

After graduating from Yeshiva University in 2005, Mr. Hagler earned his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2008. He has earned a “Superb” rating through Avvo and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, as well as the Kings County and Nassau County bar associations.
