For over two decades, Andrea B. Friedman has been an effective advocate for those who require the representation of a deft and judicious family law attorney. She is a partner at Friedman & Friedman PLLC, Attorneys at Law, in White Plains and Garden City, New York, and serves the residents of Westchester County and the surrounding areas, and emphasizes her practice on high net worth divorce, prenuptial agreements, child custody, spousal support, fathers’ rights and many more.
After completing her undergraduate studies from The George Washington University in 2006, Ms. Friedman enrolled right away at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and received her Juris Doctor in 2009. During her time in law school, she served as a student attorney at the Housing Rights Clinic, where she maintained client relationships, analyzed legal documents, gathered information and compiled evidence, among others.
Ms. Friedman is well-adapted to any changing scenarios and prioritizes her clients’ needs first and foremost. Her dedication to her craft, strong work ethic and talent at research have earned her the adulation of the legal community and her peers. She was recognized by Who’s Who Legal on numerous occasions as a Top Attorney in North America, bestowed the Marquis Who’s Who Award and designation by Hofstra University as an Emerging Leader of 2018.
After being noted as one of the Ones to Watch by Long Island Business News in 2014, the organization awarded Ms. Friedman the Millennium Award just two years later for her tireless efforts in pushing her industry into more forward, progressive territory. She is rated “Superb” on Avvo and hosts many positive testimonials on the site as well.
Outside her law practice, Ms. Friedman is a member of prestigious legal organizations such as the Westchester Women’s Bar Association, the Queens Center for Progress New Horizons Committee and the Father’s Rights Association (Manhattan). She also looks to participate in improving her local community by putting in considerable time and resources to facilitate change. She is on the advisory board of ACDS, an organization that is committed to improving the lives of those who suffer from developmental disorders, such as autism and Down syndrome, and their families.
