Carol W. Most

Attorney Carol W. Most is a partner at Most & Schneid, P.C., in White Plains, New York. Ms. Most practices matrimonial and family law, serving clients throughout New York. She has experience with matters involving complex divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, maintenance, post-divorce modifications and enforcement, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, separation agreements, visitation and other domestic-related issues.

Ms. Most has been licensed to practice law in the state of New York since 1993 and  almost 30 years of experience. She is a seasoned litigator and familiar with collaborative divorce techniques such as mediation and provides sound guidance and advice to her clients while acting as an aggressive advocate in court when necessary.

In addition to being licensed to practice in all New York state courts, Ms. Most is admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States. She represents both individuals and children and has experience at the trial and appellate levels.

As an active member of her legal community, Ms. Most is a member of a variety of professional organizations. She belongs to the Nassau County Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. She also belongs to the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.

Ms. Most holds a bachelor’s degree in education and history and a master’s degree in  education from Queens College. She earned her law degree from Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law.
