Chantal Khalil

Chantal Khalil is an associate attorney with the law firm of Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP, in White Plains, New York.  Serving clients nationwide, Ms. Khalil focuses her practice primarily on class actions involving a wide range of legal issues.

Although relatively new to the profession, Ms. Khalil has already established herself as an emerging leader in her field, and she has achieved notable success helping those who suffered an injury or loss as the result of another party's negligent, unethical, or unlawful actions.  Having successfully handled numerous class action cases in both state and federal courts involving civil rights, data privacy, consumer protection, and labor law, she has earned a reputation as a tenacious litigator who aggressively pursues the most favorable outcomes possible for those she serves.

As part of her pro bono work, in the wake of the Trump Administration's family separation policy, Ms. Khalil traveled to the US-Mexico border to help reunite families and to provide legal assistance to refugees detained in border facilities.

A magna cum laude graduate of New York University, Ms. Khalil attended The George Washington University Law School, where was heavily involved with the George Washington International Law Review.  A Thurgood Marshall scholar, Ms. Khalil received President Obama's Volunteer Service Award in recognition for her outstanding contributions to her community.  In 2015, she obtained her Juris Doctor, and in 2015, her license to practice from the New York State.  She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Western District of New York, and Northern District of New York.

While working toward her legal degree, Ms. Khalil interned with the Brennan Center for Justice and the American Civil Liberties Union, where she gained invaluable experience advocating on behalf of the rights and liberties of those in need.  Before joining Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP, she worked at World Bank Group, serving as legal consultant for the Women, Business and The Law project.
