D. Greg Blankinship

Attorney D. Greg Blankinship is one of the founding partners at Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP, in White Plains, New York. A skilled litigator, Mr. Blankinship handles class-actions lawsuits on behalf of people who have been wronged by powerful corporations and utility companies. He routinely represents consumers in cases involving civil rights, consumer privacy, consumer protection, employment law, securities fraud and whistleblower actions. His practice serves White Plains, Dutchess County and other parts of New York, but he also handles cases that involve hundreds of thousands of people in multiple states.

Mr. Blankinship received his law degree from the University of Washington Law School in 2001. While attending law school, Mr. Blankinship served on the staff of the University of Washington Law Review. He also earned a master's degree from the University of North Carolina. Prior to founding his current firm, Mr. Blankinship gained extensive legal experience as an attorney at several other large New York law firms.

Mr. Blankinship is licensed to practice in the state courts of both New York and Massachusetts, the U.S. district courts for the southern, eastern and western districts of New York and the U.S. district courts for Massachusetts and Connecticut. He is also licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

Dedicated to advocating on behalf of consumers, Mr. Blankinship has been appointed as class counsel in a number of prominent cases in which he reached multimillion-dollar settlements in favor of his clients. He also litigates against various independent energy companies accused of providing false information to consumers regarding rate charges.
