David Elbaum

Attorney David Elbaum is a partner with Dobrish Michaels Gross LLP law firm in New York, New York. A lawyer since 2001, where he focused primarily on constitutional law and civil rights, Mr. Elbaum shifted his focus to family law in 2006, and since that time, he has achieved considerable success assisting clients throughout New York City and beyond who are going through a divorce or have other serious legal issues affecting their families.

Handling all areas of family law, Mr. Elbaum provides invaluable counsel and support to his clients who need to address their issues involving child custody and support, spousal support, equitable distribution of assets, and other related matters. In addition, he handles all aspects of drafting and enforcing pre- and postnuptial agreements as well as post-judgment modifications, and he has handled numerous legal matters for nontraditional families along with the establishment of cohabitation agreements.

Mr. Elbaum also has extensive experience in accounting, which enables him to better address the financial aspects of his clients' divorces, particularly for those with considerable assets, in order to increase the likelihood they will achieve their fair share of the marital estate.
