Earning her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, Ms. Gebhardt went on to pursue her legal education at Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law. She served as editor-in-chief of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal and received her Juris Doctor in 1984. In the following year, she gained her license to practice law in New York. Before transitioning to family law, she gained extensive experience in handling cases involving labor and employment law, as well as commercial estate law.
An active member of the legal community, Ms. Gebhardt previously served as president of the Westchester County Bar Association. She also chaired the association’s Community Recovery Task Force. In 2016, she was awarded the Kay Crawford Murray Award by the New York State Bar Association for her continuous contributions to promoting women in the legal profession.
