Ms. Carton attended the State University of New York at Albany and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts before moving to Hofstra University where she completed her master’s in arts. She then attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he earned her Juris Doctor in 1981.

Co-President of the New York Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Ms. Carton is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, the Westchester County Bar Association, the Pace Women’s Justice Center Moderate Means Panel and the New York State Bar Association. Currently, she is the president of the Westchester Rockland Guardians Association, and formerly served as the Westchester Women’s Bar Association’s president.
