Siobhan T. O'Grady

Siobhan T. O’Grady is a respected and diligent family law attorney who has dedicated her practice to serving families throughout the 9^th Judicial District (Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and Putnam) as well as NYC, working at the law firm of Miller Zeiderman LLP. Known for her honesty and dependability, she has delivered positive results by working hands-on with her clients from the beginning to the end of every case in matters involving divorce, child custody/visitation, adoptions and guardianship, post-decree modifications, child support, abuse and neglect, and paternity in both the Supreme Court and the Family Court.

After graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Pace University in New York City in 2001, Ms. O’Grady received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, New York, in 2004. She earned her license to practice law in all the state courts of New York in January 2005.

A former court attorney in both a Supreme Court part and a Family Court part, Ms. O’Grady has a wide variety of experience with different types of matters litigated in the New York State Courts, including family and matrimonial matters. She also has experience serving as a prosecutor where she handled a number of neglect and abuse cases. She worked at the New York City Law Department – Family Court Division as an Assistant Deputy Borough Chief and Assistant Corporation Counsel. These experiences enable her to anticipate what judges may consider and strategize accordingly.

She is currently the President of the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association, and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. She is also a member of the Rockland County Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association.

When not lawyering, Ms. O’Grady gives back to her community through her volunteering work. She takes part in several fundraising and awareness activities by co-chairing the Rockland County Walk to End Alzheimer’s and working with the Alzheimer's Association - Rockland County Chapter.
