Christina Lana Shine

As the founder and managing attorney of Christina Lana Shine, Esq., based in Williamsville, New York, Christina Lana Shine provides experienced and compassionate legal help to individuals and families facing some of life's most personal and challenging situations. She primarily focuses her practice on family law, where she is known for her thoughtful approach, steady guidance and commitment to fighting for clients’ futures.

Ms. Shine represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, alimony and spousal support, marital property division and prenuptial agreements. She also handles mediation and collaborative law, offering alternatives to traditional litigation when appropriate. In every case, she focuses on protecting her clients' interests while reducing unnecessary conflict, especially when children and long-term family dynamics are involved. She is a strong advocate for fathers’ rights and works hard to ensure that every client’s voice is heard and respected.

Ms. Shine received her Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating magna cum laude from Canisius College in 1984. Later, she went on to pursue her legal education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where she laid the foundation for her legal career and earned her Juris Doctor in 1987.

Admitted to the New York bar in 1988, Ms. Shine is actively engaged in the legal community and maintains professional memberships with the Bar Association of Erie County, where she serves on both the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section.
