Keith B. Schulefand

Focusing his practice primarily on family law matters, Keith B. Schulefand is the owner of his own law firm located in Williamsville, New York. Providing representation to people throughout the greater Buffalo metropolitan area as well as in other parts of Erie and Niagara counties, his client base is largely comprised of clients whose marriages are coming to an end and who need to deal with such divorce-related issues as the equitable division of marital assets and debts, alimony, and child custody and visitation. Other family law matters that Mr. Schulefand has handled have included the preparation and review of prenuptial and post-marital agreements, parental rights, domestic partnerships, adoptions, paternity disputes and the obtaining of protective orders for clients who have been the victims of domestic violence.

Mr. Schulefand also has experience in real estate transactions, estate planning and administration, traffic violation defense, and various business law matters. Mr. Schulefand is admitted to practice before all New York and Florida state courts.

Mr. Schulefand majored in political science and government at the University of Michigan, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. He then went on to attend the University at Buffalo School of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1988. Remaining on campus, Mr. Schulefand pursued a business education, and the University at Buffalo issued him a Master of Business Administration in 1989. The latter degree has proven to be helpful when dealing with the numerous complex financial issues that a divorce can raise.
