Rebecca Poole is the owner of Poole Family Law located in Apex, North Carolina. Since being licensed in 2011, she has practiced family law across the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill metropolitan area, along with the counties of Wake, Chatham, Orange, and Durham. In addition, she is also experienced in estate planning, developing comprehensive plans that ensure the protection of the financial affairs of family members and businesses.

Ms. Poole is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. Moreover, she has firmly established her skills in the areas of mediation, negotiation, collaborative divorces, absolute divorces, drafting, and Parent Coordination. Her practice encompasses the issues of custody, spousal and child support, equitable distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and more. 

Ms. Poole has completed the extensive training that is required to serve as a Parenting Coordinator in high conflict custody cases. Ms. Poole understands the effects that a divorce can have on a family, especially the children, and she believes that “winning” in such cases means creating a platform where all affected parties can express their needs and work together cohesively to meet them. Furthermore, she takes up pro bono activities as a co-secretary and board member of the Center for Cooperative Parenting. 

Ms. Poole graduated from Meredith College in 2008 where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and a minor in professional writing. She completed her Juris Doctor degree at North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2011. She stepped into the legal arena as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Christian of the District of Columbia, and has active memberships in the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association.
