Since 2004, he has served on the Brevard College Alumni Board, holding multiple positions including president. Brevard College bestowed the Distinguished Alumni Award upon him in 2008.

A former Eagle Scout, Mr. Reinhardt is an avid supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He also works as a Youth Faith Development Leader at First Presbyterian Church. He sits on the executive council committee for the Daniel Boone Council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves as the council’s legal representative.  For eight years, he taught environmental policy as an adjunct professor at Brevard College.
