As an accomplished attorney with more than four (4) decades of experience, Mr. Gantt began his legal career by earning a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He later attained his law degree from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has been licensed to practice in North Carolina since 1981.
Mr. Gantt is admitted to appear before several federal courts including the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of North Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Gantt has received recognition from a variety of organizations over the course of his legal career, including being named one of the "Best Law Firms" for workers' compensation in Asheville by U.S. News & World Report and is rated AV Preeminent*, the highest possible, by attorney peer review service Martindale-Hubbell.
