Dustin R. T. Sullivan

An accomplished criminal defense attorney in Bolivia, North Carolina, Dustin R.T. Sullivan provides representation to clients in the surrounding area who have been charged by the state with felony or misdemeanor offenses. In particular, he has developed a reputation as one of the area's leading attorneys in cases involving DWI DUI charges. Mr. Sullivan has often obtained favorable results when challenging traffic stops on the basis of being made without the required reasonable suspicion on the part of law enforcement authorities. With nearly two decades of experience, he has taught a number of legal education courses about DWI defense to criminal defense attorneys throughout the State of North Carolina. Prior to law school, Mr. Sullivan attended the University of Dayton on multiple scholarships, where he was a member of the school's Division 1-AA football team before receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 2001. After gaining experience as a legal assistant with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office in Cincinnati, he then pursued his legal education at Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. While there, Mr. Sullivan was a member of one of the school's national moot court competition teams before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2006.

After he graduated from law school, Mr. Sullivan worked for the Brunswick County District Attorney's Office and the New Hanover County District Attorney's Office, both in North Carolina, before entering private practice. He is admitted to practice before all North Carolina state courts. Active in a variety of professional organizations, Mr. Sullivan counts among his memberships the 13th Judicial District Bar.
