At Jetton & Meredith, PLLC, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Christine Carver has built her practice on a simple principle: clients deserve an advocate who is thoroughly prepared, candid in her counsel and unafraid to stand before a judge. Since beginning her legal career in 2023, she has represented clients in hundreds of family law matters throughout Mecklenburg, Union, Iredell, Gaston and Cabarrus counties, earning a reputation as a formidable litigator with a commanding courtroom presence.
Ms. Carver’s practice encompasses the full range of domestic legal concerns, including divorce, equitable distribution, post-separation support and alimony, child custody and child support. She also drafts separation agreements as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and serves clients in mediation, arbitration and domestic violence matters. Whether a case calls for negotiation or a contested hearing, she approaches it with the same clarity and rigor, ensuring clients understand their options and the road ahead.
Raised in Indiana, Ms. Carver moved to Waxhaw, North Carolina, during high school and graduated from Cuthbertson High School. She went on to earn a full athletic scholarship to Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina, where she pitched for the Coker Cobras and threw a no-hitter while completing her degree in business administration. The discipline, competitiveness and work ethic she developed as a collegiate athlete continue to define how she serves her clients.
Ms. Carver earned her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, graduating in December 2022. During law school, she gained practical experience at the Forsyth County District Attorney's Office and in private family law practice, and she took an active role in the Women's Law Association.
Outside her legal work, Ms. Carver is a member of the Mecklenburg Bar Association and serves on a committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, reflecting her commitment to both her profession and her community.
