Douglas A. Petho

Licensed to practice law since 1991, Douglas A. Petho is the founder and owner of the North Carolina-based law firm Price Petho & Associates, with offices in Charlotte, Rockingham and Rutherfordton. He focuses his practice on personal injury cases including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, animal attacks, slip-and-fall, accidents at workplace and intentional torts.

In 1988 Mr. Petho, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in the Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Doctorate in Jurisprudence from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

In 1993, attorney Petho joined the law firm founded by his predecessor Larry E. Price. Since that time Mr. Petho's primary focus has been the litigation of plaintiff's personal injury suits. He has successfully tried hundreds of cases to jury verdict involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and fall accidents, animal attacks, intentional torts and work related accidents.

In 2011, Mr. Petho achieved an "AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and has received a 10/10 rating on Avvo through peer review. He was also awarded a Silver Client Champion badge through Martindale-Hubbell for his client services.
