Erika N. Angles

Erika N. Angles is a Partner and experienced family law attorney at Jetton & Meredith, PLLC, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Known for her strong courtroom presence, strategic approach to litigation, and unwavering commitment to her clients, Erika is a dedicated advocate for individuals and families navigating some of life's most challenging legal matters.

Erika focuses her practice on family law, representing clients in divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, and other complex domestic matters. As a skilled litigator, she understands that family law disputes often involve much more than legal issues. They involve her clients' children, financial security, and futures. Erika approaches every case with a commitment to protecting her clients' interests while developing a legal strategy tailored to their individual circumstances and goals.

Before focusing her practice on family law, Erika gained extensive courtroom and litigation experience as an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina's Judicial District 19C. Her background as a prosecutor helped shape her ability to evaluate evidence, build persuasive arguments, and advocate effectively in the courtroom. Today, she draws on that experience when representing clients in contested family law proceedings, particularly when negotiations are unsuccessful and litigation becomes necessary.

Erika is a fierce advocate who is not afraid to take a case to court when her client's interests are at stake. She combines thorough preparation, attention to detail, and a commanding courtroom presence with an understanding of the emotional and financial challenges that often accompany family law disputes. Erika earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina State University in 2012 and graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2015, where she served as Executive Editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review. Her legal background also includes experience with the North Carolina Department of Justice, a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Judge Lori Christian, and service with the Wake County District Attorney's Office.

Erika is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar and its Family Law Section. Outside of her legal practice, she remains actively involved in the Charlotte community. She was recognized as a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's STANDOUT Class of 2020 and continues to support the organization as a committee member. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Charlotte.
