Jon R. Moore

Jon R. Moore, a partner at Brown Moore & Associates, PLLC, in Charlotte, North Carolina, concentrates on various types of accidents, including those involving buses, cars, workplaces, uninsured or underinsured motorists, trucks, trains, light rail, tractor trailers and more. Serving all of North Carolina and South Carolina, he also addresses incidents involving texting while driving, taxi or ride-sharing, school buses, roadway defects, pedestrian, motorcycle, hit-and-run, fatal car, drunk driving, distracted driver, Uber and Lyft, bicycle accidents, automobile crashworthiness claims, wrongful death, medical malpractice, workers' compensation and construction accidents.

Raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Mr. Moore achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated as the valedictorian of his high school class of 600. He pursued higher education at Northwestern University near Chicago. After college, he was accepted to Georgetown University Law School but chose to defer his enrollment for a year. During this period, he returned to his hometown to teach English at a local high school. While attending law school, he continued his teaching endeavors by conducting a practical law class for high school students in Washington, D.C.

After completing law school, Mr. Moore made his way to Springfield, Missouri, where he joined a small law practice. This chapter of his life allowed him to discover the joy of advocating for individuals rather than large corporations or insurance companies. Today, he is the Political Action Committee Chair for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and has taken on roles such as vice president of Legal Affairs and Legislative Affairs, chair of the Auto Torts and Premises Liability Section, and chair of the Products Liability Section. Additionally, he is part of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has contributed as membership chair for the Western North Carolina chapter.

Mr. Moore received his license to practice law in North Carolina and Missouri in 2002 and has been admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
