Justin C. Olsinski

Mr. Olsinski focuses his practice on complex criminal defense matters, representing clients facing charges such as sex offenses, drug crimes, DWI and DUI violations, violent crimes, assault, homicide, trafficking, theft and other serious felonies in state and federal courts. He is particularly experienced in handling high-stakes cases that require skilled trial advocacy and strategic defense. Besides criminal defense work, he also handles select personal injury and family law matters, including car accidents, wrongful death and child custody cases, often collaborating within the firm to provide comprehensive legal support while maintaining a strong emphasis on criminal defense.

Mr. Olsinski earned his Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington in 2005. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law in 2009, where he developed the legal foundation that continues to guide his practice. That same year, he was admitted to practice law in the state of North Carolina.

Active in the legal community, Mr. Olsinski is a member of several professional organizations, including the National College of DWI/DUI Defense, the Mecklenburg County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Mecklenburg County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Olsinski has achieved notable case results that demonstrate his effectiveness as a trial attorney. In July 2023, he secured a mistrial with a 9-3 not-guilty split in a statutory rape and sex offense case in Iredell County, ultimately resulting in a reduced misdemeanor plea. In August 2022, he obtained a dismissal following a 10-2 not-guilty verdict in a case involving secretly peeping using a photographic device in Mecklenburg County. Earlier, in May 2022, he achieved a full dismissal of charges, including common law robbery, assault inflicting serious injury and assault by strangulation, in Mecklenburg County. These outcomes underscore his dedication to defending his clients and pursuing favorable resolutions in criminal matters.
