Prior to joining law school, he received his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University in 1991. Limiting his practice to legal relationships related to marriage, its creation, dissolution and other matrimonial law matters, he is board-certified in family law by the North Carolina State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization since 2009.
