Robert P. Hanner II

Bob has practiced family law in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties for more than 45 years. He has extensive experience in the trial of family law matters, including equitable distribution, post-separation support, alimony, and children's issues. He has been a certified Family Law Specialist since 1989 and is a past president of the Mecklenburg County Family Law Section. Bob graduated from the Citadel and Wake Forest University School of Law, after which he served for five years as a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. Bob has practiced law in Charlotte, NC since 1975. He has been certified as a family law specialist since 1989 (the first year the State of NC recognized this specialist designation). Bob has been recognized in Super Lawyers each year since 2007 as well as in other publications such as Best Lawyers in America. Bob has lectured on various family law topics and is active in a number of social and civic activities.
