Robyn Hicks-Guinn

A dedicated and compassionate attorney, Robyn Hicks-Guinn is the managing attorney of Hicks-Guinn Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. She assists clients throughout the state with any of the following legal issues:

Ms. Hicks-Guinn helps clients plan their future for themselves and their loved ones by assisting with wills, trusts, estate administration, health care planning, guardianships and more. Before starting her career as an attorney, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Cheri Beasley on the North Carolina Supreme Court, and later was a trial court administrator for the 7th Prosecutorial District. Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010, Ms. Hicks-Guinn enrolled at the North Carolina Central University School of Law. After receiving her Juris Doctor in 2013, she was licensed to practice in North Carolina in 2017 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

Outside her law practice, Ms. Hicks-Guinn maintains active memberships in professional legal organizations such as the Charlotte Women's Bar, the John S. Leary Bar Association of Black Attorneys, the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, the North Carolina State Bar and the Mecklenburg County Bar. Additionally, she was appointed to the General Contracting and Licensing Board for the State of North Carolina, and she was a part of the City of Raleigh Human Relations Commission.

An active member of her community, Ms. Hicks-Guinn was recognized by the North Carolina Pro Bono Honor Society for her contributions to helping individuals with lesser resources. Moreover, she teaches continuing legal education courses to the public on how to legally protect themselves and their assets.
