Leigh Anne Williams

Leigh Anne Williams is the founder & operating attorney of Meridian Law Office, in Concord, North Carolina, where she provides legal representation to clients facing family disputes. Her practice is devoted exclusively to family law, with a particular focus on divorce and related issues. She assists clients with legal separation, child custody, child support, post-separation support, alimony, equitable property distribution, adoption, adult incompetency proceedings and guardianship matters.

Ms. Williams brings both professional knowledge and personal understanding to her practice. Having experienced life-altering trauma in marital and family situations, she appreciates the emotional and practical challenges that often accompany family law disputes. As a mother, she recognizes the importance of protecting children from the effects of family conflict and strives to guide clients through difficult transitions with compassion and care. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, thoughtful advocacy and practical solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances.

With extensive experience in family law matters, Ms. Williams works closely with clients to help them understand their rights and options while navigating often challenging legal processes. Ms. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Coastal Carolina University in 2002. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law in 2012. She was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in 2014.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Williams remains actively involved in the legal community through several professional organizations. She is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, Charlotte Women Attorneys and Charlotte Collaborative Divorce Professionals. She also served as vice chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Committee.
