Amanda Knight represents clients in a wide range of family law matters including divorce, child custody and support, domestic violence, spousal support, and equitable distribution proceedings. She is Board Certified by the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization - a distinction held by less than 2% of all family law practitioners in the state - and has been recognized for her work by independent attorney rating organizations including but not limited to SuperLawyers and Avvo.
Before joining Ellis Family Law, P.L.L.C., Ms. Knight gained invaluable experience as an intern at Legal Aid of North Carolina, honing her skills and passion for serving her community through legal advocacy. Her scholarly contributions include the publication "Man Made Organs: Technology Made it Possible but Can the FDA Keep Up?" in the North Carolina Central University Science & Intellectual Property Law Review in 2015.
