Abigail C. Seymour

The owner and lead attorney of Camino Law, Abigail C. Seymour, established the firm in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 2019. She offers a range of services, including divorce and separation, collaborative divorce, child custody, surrogacy and traffic offenses. She brings a unique perspective to her practice, drawing from her diverse experiences and challenges.

Ms. Seymour is not just a lawyer; her personal experiences with marriage, adoption, childbirth, divorce and co-parenting allow her to empathize deeply with her clients' situations. She also understands broader challenges such as mental illness, loss through suicide, gun violence, and the death of a parent or dealing with life-threatening illnesses. These life incidents enable her to relate to and support her clients effectively.

Going down an unconventional career path, Ms. Seymour pursued a career as a photographer and writer, choosing not to follow a legal path in her 20s. Although she enjoyed her creative work, she always felt a pull toward the legal profession. After becoming a parent, she realized that becoming an attorney was the most fulfilling way to serve others and put her beliefs into action.

With a deep understanding of the struggles associated with addiction and the transformative power of recovery, Ms. Seymour recognizes the impact of addiction on families and the importance of recovery for the well-being of children. Her compassionate approach helps her support clients through their hardships, particularly in family law matters.

Ms. Seymour is passionate about practicing law and working with families to achieve the best outcomes for their children. Her goal is to provide peace of mind and resolutions that benefit her clients and their families. She holds a law degree from Elon University School of Law, a B.F.A. in photography from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and has served as a board member of the Children's Law Center of Central North Carolina. Additionally, she was an AmeriCorps member at FaithAction International House and is fluent in Spanish.
