Hilary Hux

Board-certified by the North Carolina State Bar in family law, Hilary Hux is a family law attorney at Garrett, Walker, Aycoth & Olson, Attorneys at Law, a one-stop law firm based in the city of Greensboro, North Carolina. A partner at the firm’s family law division, she represents clients residing in and around Winston, Salem and High Point, in addition to those within the firm’s immediate vicinity.

Since 2014, Ms. Hux has been guiding families with compassion and integrity. She has assisted her clients in a wide variety of matters, including divorce, uncontested divorce cases, child support, child custody and domestic violence, to name a few. A zealous advocate for people’s rights, she consistently strives to ensure that her clients’ rights and interests are protected throughout the legal process.

Majoring in political science, Ms. Hux graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2014 and her bar license the same year.

After graduating from law school, Ms. Hux started her career as an associate attorney at a renowned legal firm in North Carolina and worked here for a brief stint of around a year. She then joined Garrett, Walker, Aycoth & Olson, Attorneys at Law, in 2016, and since then has been an indispensable member of the firm.

Along with receiving a perfect score of 10/10 on Avvo, Business North Carolina magazine named Ms. Hux a Legal Elite Young Gun. She was also the recipient of the Ten Best for Client Satisfaction Award from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys.
