Joel W. Davis

Joel W. Davis is a senior attorney with Oxner Thomas + Permar, PLLC, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Mr. Davis focuses his practice exclusively on workers' compensation claims. With more than 12 years of wide-ranging experience as an attorney, he uses his insight and knowledge to help injured workers with their claims for compensation at all phases of the process.

At the firm, Mr. Davis is able to work with a team of attorneys who have a significant amount of experience in workers' compensation, personal injury and Social Security Disability law. The firm serves clients with an open-door policy that encourages them to schedule face-to-face meetings with their attorney for any issue.

Originally from Kissimmee, Florida, Mr. Davis earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Tulane University. In 2007, he obtained certification in workers' compensation law from The North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He recently renewed that certification.

Outside the office, Mr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. A resident of Greensboro since 2000, he serves his community by helping in food drives, participating in projects with the Knights of Columbus and performing volunteer work for Greensboro Urban Ministry.
