He then pursued his J.D. at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, graduating in 1998. During law school, he became president of the Federalist Society and participated in the American Trial Lawyers Association Mock Trial Team, the International Law Moot Court Team, the American Inns of Court and the Board of Advocates. His leadership extended to his role as chief counsel of the SMU Criminal Justice Clinic, where he gained real-world experience by winning two criminal jury trials and interning with the Attorney General of Texas in child support enforcement.
Mr. Spagnola continues to bring the same zeal and dedication to his work as he did in his early career. With a track record of successfully representing thousands of clients, he remains eager to offer his legal skills to those in need. An esteemed member of the legal community, he actively participates in the Greensboro Bar Association – Family Law Section, the Guilford American Inn of Court, the North Carolina Bar Association – Family Law and Bankruptcy sections, and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
