    • Confidential settlement of the medical malpractice case concerning the above the knee amputation of an elderly woman's leg.  The woman, a severe diabetic, broke her ankle which required casting.  Despite her repeated complaints of the casts being tight, her orthopedic never checked her pedal pulses.  The woman went to the hospital where it was determined that her leg was gangrenous requiring amputation, 2011
