Zachary A. Cohen

A highly regarded criminal defense attorney, Zachary A. Cohen is the owner of his sole practice based in Monroe, North Carolina. He provides advice and counsel to area residents who have been charged by the state with the commission of misdemeanors or felonies, and he has been able to obtain acquittals in many of these cases while in others, he has negotiated plea agreements containing terms favorable to his clients.

In addition to his defense practice, Mr. Cohen has a family law background, representing people who are going through a divorce and who are having to deal with issues such as child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and the equitable division of property. Mr. Cohen majored in history at Wingate University, which he attended on a football scholarship and from where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. His legal education came at Texas A&M University School of Law. During his time there, Mr. Cohen served internships with the District Attorney's Office of Union County in Monroe. He is admitted to practice before all North Carolina state courts.
