Ashley Banks

Serving clients in Raleigh, North Carolina, Ashley T. Banks is a partner at the law firm Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. She concentrates her practice on family law matters, including separation agreements, child custody, domestic violence, child support, equitable distribution, divorce, collaborative divorce, and post-separation support and alimony. 

Ms. Banks treats every case with compassion and sensitivity and genuinely cares about her clients. She maintains open channels of communication and is renowned for her politeness and friendliness. After completing her pre-law studies at the University of Georgia, Ms. Banks obtained her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in political science from the North Carolina State University with dean’s list honors. She pursued her legal education at Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2013. 

While in law school, Ms. Banks was president of Women in Law, and for providing the best services to the student body in 2013, she led this organization to win the Outstanding Organization of the Year Award. She was also a member of the Mock Trial Team and was awarded the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Most Outstanding Advocate Award and graduated with Order of Old Kivett honors. She was the recipient of the Beverly Massey Scholarship as well.

During law school, Ms. Banks served as an intern at the North Carolina Department of Justice, Special Prosecutions, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the Wake County District Attorney's Office. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina.

Ms. Banks is actively associated with the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Wake County Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and the Family Law Division.
