Benjamin T. Cochran

Ben Cochran is the managing partner of Hardison & Cochran Attorneys at Law, where he leads the firm and represents clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases across North Carolina. A lifelong North Carolinian, Ben’s commitment to helping injured workers took root early - he knew back in high school that he wanted to be an attorney.

After earning his undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, he went on to graduate from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. While still in law school, Ben began working at Hardison & Cochran, eventually joining full-time after passing the bar in 2002. Since then, he’s built a reputation as a trusted advocate for the injured, becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law and securing numerous seven-figure outcomes for his clients.

Known for his clear communication and steady leadership, Ben believes that guiding clients with honesty and experience is key to a successful case. He’s been selected to Super Lawyers every year since 2009 and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for more than a decade.

Beyond the courtroom, Ben is passionate about community involvement. Through the firm’s “Doing Good” project and their work with the Autism Society of North Carolina.
