Deborah Sandlin

Deborah Sandlin is a founding principal of Sandlin Family Law Group in Raleigh. She has been a certified family law specialist since 2003. She has extensive experience in complex litigation issues related to family law and adoptions. Debbie has extensive experience as an appellate attorney, having presented oral argument at the North Carolina appellate courts on several occasions and having several published opinions. She has been a certified appellate law specialist since 2015.  She is a certified parenting coordinator and a certified family financial mediator. A dedicated and creative attorney, Debbie is mindful of the difficulties that family law litigants face and is known for handling difficult issues. In addition to handling cases within her firm, Debbie is often associated by other attorneys to assist with cases throughout the state. She has served as an adjunct professor at North Carolina Central University School of Law from 2002 until 2008 and held several positions on various committees for the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice throughout her career.
