After completing his Bachelor of Business Administration in trust management from Campbell University in 1986, Mr. Vann obtained his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1990. He was admitted to practice in North Carolina in 1992.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Vann worked as a personal banker and assistant branch manager of Wachovia Bank. He later worked at a prominent law firm in North Carolina for over four years. These experiences have enabled him to provide practical solutions to his clients not only from a legal point of view but also from a business and economic viewpoint.
Mr. Vann understands the importance of staying active in his legal community. He is a former chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section and holds memberships in various other sections of NCBA such as the Business Law Section, Bench/Bar Liaison Committee and Construction Law/Real Property Section. He is also a member of the North Carolina Creditors Bar Association and the Wake County Bar Association.
Giving back to the community he has lived in all his life, Mr. Vann provides pro bono services regularly. He is a part of various nonprofits such as Capital City Clauses and Alexander Family YMCA.
